I'll Be There For You

Image
Hi Brave Dragons! Haha, I decided on a nickname (temporary) for you all. How did you like that? Let me know in the comments. Today's post is about a POEM I wrote about heartbreak and unputdownable feelings that once developed can't be shaken. Yay! It is a poem that's hard to decipher, sorry for my heart to be a straight maze of complicated turns. Ahem, so here you go: Give me all your sorrow and grief. I might be the one you hate, I'll give you all my relief. Just once; I know it's too late. Don't carry this burden, dearie, you'll hurt me only more. I will help you with your misery. Take my hand, yes, from the core. I might not be much of use, but I can lighten your heart. I might not be whom you choose, but I was with you from start. I'll do anything for your sake. No matter what decision you make, I will be there for you. I'll always love you. (PS: Look forward to more of my poems.  (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ )

Happy (Part-2)

Image
It climbed Moin's house. Moin came panting. 'This thing dropped from the sky,' he mumbled, 'and he broke into my house? Come back!' When he climbed up, he found the little thing sitting on a chair. 'What's your name?' he asked. But it didn't respond, but tilted its head towards him. 'I don't know what language you understand, but' Moin said, 'are you lost?' He pointed at it and tried to look in every direction, which symbolised that something or someone is lost. 'My name's Happy,' it spoke, 'I am not lost. I like your house.' 'Oh!' Moin exclaimed. 'So, you can speak my language, right?' Happy tilted his head, which Moin translated as 'yes'. 'Are you some kind of angel?' He asked. 'Of course not!' Happy replied. 'I am here to find friends.' 'So,' Moin asked, 'don't you have friends?' 'No,' Happy said, looking...

Happy (Part-1)

Image
It is a fine morning. The tweeting of sparrows, the squeaks of squirrels and the song of the wind woke up Moin. He is an 8 year old boy who lives in the heart of Peace Wood. This wood, as its name suggests, is popular for peace and serenity. No one lives here, except Moin and his animal friends. We see Moin climbing down his tree house, Peace Home. 'Good morning!' he cried, stretching and yawning. 'Time to collect some fruits!' He went deep into the wood and starts collecting fruits. He has a natural ability to distinguish which friut's better. When he reached an apple tree, something strange happened. Some of the apples dropped on him. Moin looked at the sky. He saw birds retreating from a particular direction. The earth beneath his foot started to tremble. He ran deeper to know what had happened. When he reached there, he found a giant pit. When he bent to look what caused it, he was astonished! He saw a spaceship. He hid behind a tree. With a cl...

A Lovely Tale (Love Story)

Image
Hola! How are you? Are you wondering who I am? Well, I won't tell. I leave it to you. It all begun one cloudy morning. It was the beginning of monsoon. I was going home. On the way, I saw a sparrow sitting in the middle of the road. I wondered why it couldn't fly. He was flapping his wings, but it didn't help. I immediately picked him up and searched for another person. And then my eyes fell on a shop. I hurried there and placed the sparrow on a chair. On close examination, I found out that a thorn had pierced his right claw. “Excuse me!” I called. “Is someone there?” “Yes!” a sweet voice echoed through the silent air. “How may I help you, sir?” “The sparrow's injured,” I spoke breathlessly, “bring me a nail-cutter. Hurry!” I had no time to look at the respondent. The sparrow's critical condition caught my heart, eye and mind. “Here,” she replied, “sir.” I slowly brought it closer to his claw, and then quietly removed the thorn. Thank goodness, the...

Innocent Murderer

Have you ever been controlled by someone? I have been. Let me tell you my story. I am Geoff Humphrey. I am a cartoonist. One day, sitting at my desk, I was creating a character when I heard something. I stopped and turned about, but there was no one. I got back to work. ‘Finally!’ I said to myself. ‘Got it finished! Now, let me build his qualities.’ ‘Nice character!’ someone whispered. I stood up from my place and said, ‘who's there?’ ‘No need to worry,’ it said, in a cold voice, ‘it's me.’ ‘Who are you?’ I asked. ‘Show yourself!’ ‘Oh Geoff,’ it said, chuckling, ‘you keep forgetting. It is me, the Joker.’ ‘I don't know any joker,’ I said, now searching for the speaker, armed with a blade, ‘are you a thief? I am armed.’ ‘Do you remember going to the circus when you were a child?’ the Joker asked. ‘I do remember very well.’ I answered confidently. ‘What do you want?’ ‘Patience, m'boy,’ he spoke, ‘do you remember my death behind the circus ten...

Unforgettable Night! (Short Story)

Image
It was a dark and scary night for me. Because, that night I had read a horror book written by Groonz Heffolcho. He is the best-selling horror writer. Name of the book is Anna's Abode. I bought it only yesterday. Let me share my experience. I am Rick Williams, and I am the chief editor of The Spirit Magazine. I have read many horror stories, but this, Anna's Abode, really got me goosebumps. I-I can't just take my mind off that. It was Saturday night, and I was alone at home. Usually, my friend, Jake joined me, but that night, he was too busy to come. I was getting bored. So, I started surfing the net. After some time, boredom dominated. My eyes fell on a book. The title read, 'Anna's Abode'. My sister, Helen, had gifted me on my 27th birthday. Sighing, I opened the book. When I started reading, it was 8:16 pm, and by the time I had finished reading it, it was 11:49 pm. I generally read 2 chapters whenever I got leisure time. But, this novel really swall...

Alone (A Short Story)

Image
Hello Reader! I am Jason Hills. I am an artist. I am here to share an incident that happened to me on the night of 2nd May, 2020. I had been given a project to paint a scenery. I had never heard of that place. The address was M/23, Block-B7, Newton. A strange address, I thought to myself. 'I want the project to be completed within two days, okay?' Mr Jacob Williams said. 'My daughter will have recovered by then, and I want to surprise her on her 14th birthday. She loves painting, and preferably night views.' 'Don't you worry, Sir,' I said confidently. 'the painting will be completed before you know.' Mooling Park was as busy as it had been. And there was peaceful silence as we saw the sun veiling himself slowly. 'Alright!' Mr Williams seemed to be in a hurry, so he shook hands with me and left. When I reached the address, I found myself standing in front of a hotel. Its name was Wunka Hotel. Not a big hotel, but a two-storey ho...

1. Forest (Ride)

Image
1. Forest Are you ready for a ride with me? Your only tour guide, Moin Khan, is here to introduce you to the above-mentioned photo. Hold your mind! Keep track of me! And don't forget to enjoy it! :) Ride On the count of three, okay? Inhale! Relax! 3...2...1! Go! Get up. We have reached our destiny. Wonderful, isn't it? Now, take a deep breath. Feeling good? The mist has shrouded the entire forest. The tall trees seem to grow evermorely. Here, touch the bark. Isn't it draped in a blanket of water? When I smell the bark, I am reminded of my childhood tree. What do they remind you of? Now, slowly feel the bark. How is it? Lovely? Healing? Now, lean your ears against one of the trees, and try to hear the heartbeat. Did you hear? No? Try once more. You will hear the beats, the beats made of love. Do you feel connected to the tree? And now, listen to the heartbeats. Did you? I listened to them. I heard the tree say, "Brother...slaughtere...

Walk the Forest (Creative Writing)

Image
Walk the Forest Walking in the dense forest of elephantic trees, I sensed a feeling of belongingness. The belongingness, that had been since my birth, which, I just discovered. I feel connected to it; connected to every living thing around. The lushness swims in my eyes. The green trees are home to several living beings. The cool blanket of air has surrounded me. It makes me elated. My soul is shouting with joy. The smile on my face is so natural! As I walk on the soil, I feel the softness of earth. The soil seems a part of me. The more I walk, the more homely I feel. As I touch the leaves, fresh droplets fall from it upon my dry skin. As I run my fingers over the barks, they (fingers) get cold and sweet. All this enhances my spirit. The air is filled with the fragrance of leaves, flowers and love. No perfume can compete with this fragrance. This place seems so welcoming, for, this is my home. When I open my mouth, the mintiness in the air fills my tongue. I feel...

Invisible Blanket (Poem)

Intoduction to Nature We have been under the shade of nature for a long time. We all are part of it. Without her, our existence is impossible. Wind We daily interact with nature. Some feel it, while some ignore it. Those who ignore don't know what a bounty nature is to man, but those who feel it, enjoy it, discover it, know what truly she is. Nature's lap is solacing. Whenever I feel lonely, I don't seem for a company of people, but company of nature. I have learnt many things from nature herself, that I might have never learned from people. When I am elated, I celebrate by going to a nearby garden or riverside. I listen to songs of trees, chirping of birds, warbling of water, and much more. I seek them whenever I go. I feel at home when I am in her lap. After my mother's lap comes Nature's lap. I feel sleepy, drowsy; ready to dive. I feel so myself. To understand nature with a better perspective, let's take an example. If you start at a tree...
